New seeded lawn

We built a new home where it was previously pine woods here in South Carolina. Primarily sandy soil with little water retention. Had sprinkler system put in and a straw rake was used to reprep the yard behind a tractor. I put out 6 lbs of santee centipede seed and watered for up to 10-12 min per zone every 2 hrs during the heat of the day initially. I could see sprouts in about 14-16 days. Lots of crabgrass came up as well but Tenacity herbicide is taking care of that nicely. It’s now been 25 days and some areas where the soil holds more water is fairly thick already. Others not so much. I put out 50 lbs of 5-10-30 fertilizer which is favorable for centipede about 3 weeks in which was too late honestly. Plan to put out Milorganite today. 6,000 sq ft area.

Not sure yet

I was surprised at how far the 2lbs container went but as of right now I can not share any results. I’m only at day 7, nothing yet.
